A beautiful couple from London/South Africa, full of love and life. A nomadic lifestyle, workaholics, travellers, campers, collectors, always on a quest for new antiques, gemstones, old traditional jewellery. They have a big collection of antiquities from around the world. Carbonate samples, fossils, pottery items, shark tooth, and a lot more from Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, Egypt, Syria, England, Italy, Europe, Oman, Jordan, Qatar, and a lot of other places.
I stepped into their house and there was an awe am I visiting a museum or a cultural and traditional antiques heaven? This can’t be true. They have travelled and brought Saudi treasures home from the far reaches of Dumat Al-Jandal in the North-West and the vast deserts of Rub Al Khali in the South-west of Saudi Arabia.
Their journey spans from one end of the magical and mystical India to the other end, collecting all the treasures of this melange of multi-cultures and a pot pouri of people. Explored South Africa in their expeditions for the beautiful artifacts from the past. Exploring, trailblazing the big warm potjie of cultures. They spend most of their vacations and weekends outdoors, searching for the craters, deserts, lakes, and treasures. This is just a glimpse of their magnificent collection.
